A Cinematographer is required for a media agency in Johannesburg (Office Based: Daily Commute).
Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 per month.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute dynamic video edits to captivate target audiences and accomplish project objectives.
- Interpret the script and develop a visual style that aligns with the story’s tone and mood.
- Selecting the appropriate camera and lenses for each shot is crucial for achieving the desired look and feel.
- Work closely with other team members to develop concepts, storylines, and overall video production strategy.
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, visually compelling video productions.
- The ability to adapt to unexpected situations and find creative solutions is important.
- Meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
- Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
- Portfolio of completed film productions.
- Extensive experience working in the film industry.
