The main objective of the position is to prepare all aircraft to enable a service experience of high standard, quality and professionalism on a 24-hour readiness basis, as well as assisting Flight Administrators with setups for flights and ground handling.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure pre and post flight preparations are done on time
- Ensure that the facility is always clean and that flight operations’ stock is controlled effectively
- Ensure that all vehicles, including GSE and aircraft tugs, are checked daily for operational readiness and report any defects or maintenance items
- Assist Lounge and FBO with aircraft arrivals and departures
- Coordinate aircraft ground movement and aircraft towing (positioning, chocking, marshalling & manoeuvring)
- Ensure positive communication with all dispatched aircraft and inform relevant personnel of changes in flight schedules Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
Experience
1 Year related experience in the aviation industry
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Additional requirements
- Ability to work shifts, standby and overtime Valid Driver’s License
