We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to serve as an Interim Marketing Team Lead for a six-month maternity cover (October 2025 – March 2026). This role is ideal for someone capable of managing day-to-day team operations while providing strategic input to achieve marketing objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in e-commerce or premium consumer brands.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, content strategy, and digital design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance execution with strategic thinking.
- Experience using Google Looker Studio, Tableau, and HubSpot would be advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing team, including PPC, content development, design, copywriting, and photography.
- Ensure campaigns and deliverables are executed on time and to a high standard.
- Support and guide the team in meeting acquisition, retention, and ROI targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with the broader e-commerce and gifting strategy.
- Contribute strategic recommendations on campaign content and targeting.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
