We are seeking a Junior AutoCAD Draughtsperson to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to assist in preparing high-quality production drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update detailed AutoCAD drawings for timber-frame, SIPs, and modular building systems.
- Interpret architectural and engineering designs into accurate working drawings.
- Ensure drawings meet company, client, and statutory standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the production team.
- Assist in maintaining drawing records and revisions.
- Support senior draughtspersons with project tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
- A diploma or certificate in drafting, architecture, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under supervision and take instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
