Join our dynamic warehouse and storage team as a Logger Operator! We’re looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate and maintain heavy-duty logging equipment in our busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate logger grabber machinery to load, offload, move, and stack logs or timber products safely and efficiently.
- Handle cargo with precision to avoid damage to goods, equipment, or infrastructure.
- Perform daily machine inspections, routine maintenance checks, and immediately report any mechanical faults or safety concerns.
- Ensure loads are correctly secured and balanced before movement.
- Work closely with yard supervisors, tally clerks, and inventory staff to ensure correct placement and recording of goods.
- Follow instructions for stock movements, including loading trucks, offloading containers, and stacking in designated areas.
- Maintain clear and safe working areas around machinery and comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in general warehouse duties when not operating equipment, supporting overall operational efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies, shift schedules, and operational deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logger Operator.
Valid operator license/certification.
Strong awareness of warehouse safety and equipment handling procedures.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
