Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager with expertise in digital marketing and lead generation to lead a talented in-house team and work in close partnership with the CEO. You will translate the company’s business goals into clear, actionable marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns directly support overall growth objectives.
You will manage a team that includes a Digital Marketing Specialist, Videographer/Editor/Animator, Designer, Web Developer, and Social Media Manager, ensuring that all campaigns, creative assets, and online touchpoints meet performance goals and brand standards.
This is not purely a strategic role. The successful candidate will actively direct the team, monitor performance, and step in to provide guidance or hands-on support when necessary. Your focus will be on managing budgets, ensuring quality, and driving measurable lead generation outcomes. This is a full-time, in-office leadership position based on a Monday to Friday schedule (11:30 AM to 8:30 PM).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, setting clear objectives and maintaining accountability for results.
- Foster a collaborative environment where team members have the support and direction needed to excel.
- Work directly with the CEO to act as the conduit between business objectives and marketing execution, ensuring strategies and campaigns are aligned with organizational priorities.
- Ensure all marketing activity aligns with company objectives and brand guidelines.
2. Lead Generation and Performance Management
- Oversee the execution of multi-channel lead generation campaigns, ensuring they deliver quality leads at optimal cost.
- Work closely with sales and operations to ensure seamless lead handoff and conversion tracking.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and direct team members to improve performance.
3. Campaign Execution and Quality Control
- Digital Marketing Specialist: Review paid campaign performance (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn), validate targeting and spend allocation and directly implement urgent optimizations when needed.
- Videographer/Editor/Animator: Shape video briefs, ensure creative direction aligns with platform best practices (TikTok, Reels, educational content), and step in for priority shoots or edits when timelines demand.
- Designer: Approve campaign visuals, confirm alignment with brand standards and conversion goals, and contribute creative concepts for high-impact projects.
- Social Media Manager: Oversee content calendars, review engagement strategies, and personally manage posts or responses during sensitive or high-priority moments.
- Web Developer: Direct updates to landing pages and website elements that support campaigns, review UX for conversion readiness, and provide input on key technical changes.
4. Reporting and Insights
- Consolidate marketing performance data into clear, actionable reports for leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to guide budget allocation, campaign improvements, and resource planning.
5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing priorities align with broader company goals.
6. Budget Management
- Oversee and allocate the marketing budget across advertising, software subscriptions, creative tools, hardware, and other operational expenses.
- Track spend against planned budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources to maximize ROI.
- Approve and monitor paid media budgets, adjusting allocations based on campaign performance and business priorities.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Provide regular budget performance updates to leadership, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and reinvestment.
