We have an exciting job opportunity for a Quality Assurance Auditor, based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.
We are looking for an energetic, hard-working team player who loves learning and wants to positively contribute in our strategy to improve quality standards within our business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Quality auditing of goods across a wide spectrum of products.
- Understanding of patterns grading and garment construction.
- Compliant in the fit development process from first fit to production.
- Reporting back to the supplier or factory in a clear and concise manor. With recommendations on how to repair if needed.
- Liaising with Suppliers and Garment Technologists on quality issues.
- Excellent understanding of AQL standards, fabric reports, construction and pattern making.
- Monitoring of quality issues arising at the supplier, and mentoring for improvement.
- Data capturing all audits.
- Able to manage workload and appointments.
Requirements:
- Clothing manufacturing experience in a factory environment as well as retail.
- Minimum of 3-5 years quality auditing experience.
- Code 8 drivers license.
