About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruiter to lead the sourcing and onboarding of Self-Employed Mortgage Advisers across the UK. This is a pivotal role in helping grow a national network of advisers by identifying top talent, guiding them through the recruitment process, and ensuring a smooth transition into their self-employed careers.
As a key member of the recruitment team, you will play an instrumental part in building a robust adviser network, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. You’ll be responsible for attracting high-quality candidates, managing relationships, and ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and attract experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Advisers across the UK
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: from advertising and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and referrals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity
- Partner with compliance and onboarding teams to ensure seamless integration of new advisers
- Provide insights and reports on recruitment performance, pipeline progress, and market intelligence
- Develop recruitment campaigns and contribute to employer branding efforts tailored to the self-employed adviser market
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience recruiting within financial services – ideally mortgage or protection sector
- Strong understanding of the self-employed adviser model and the UK mortgage market
- Confident, personable, and highly motivated with excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and adviser onboarding requirements is a plus
- Tech-savvy, with experience using recruitment CRM/ATS systems and professional networking platforms
