We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruiter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, a strong grasp of the recruitment lifecycle, and the ability to manage multiple roles across various functions and seniority levels. This role is instrumental in supporting our talent acquisition efforts and ensuring we continue to attract high-calibre professionals aligned with our values and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles, from briefing to offer stage
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using various methods (e.g. job boards, LinkedIn, referrals)
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and internal databases
- Draft and publish engaging job advertisements aligned with employer branding
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders and candidates
- Conduct reference checks and support the onboarding process
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on pipeline status and hiring progress
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a recruiter (either in-house or agency)
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment law
- Proficiency in using recruitment platforms and ATS software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred:
- Familiarity with sourcing tools
- CIPD or equivalent qualification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R25 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape (City of Cape Town): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
